We are seeking a talented and organised librarian or research professional to provide operational leadership, expert advice and guidance on open-research practices. This role manages and delivers a service for researchers to enable deposit of research outputs in the Bournemouth University open research outputs repository and enhance the visibility of their research. The role also contributes to delivery of library objectives and institutional priorities, including BU2035.
Your adaptability and thoroughness, with a proactive approach, will be core to the role. You will prioritise work effectively to meet deadlines, maintain customer focus, and support research at BU. You will contribute to the delivery of Library teaching, including postgraduate students, and work with colleagues in a matrix structure to meet service requirements.
This post sits within BU's Academic Liaison Team within Library and Learning Services, responsible for high-quality engagement and support for researchers, staff and students.
