Trauma & Orthopaedic Locum Consultant (Upper Limb) Trauma & Orthopaedic Locum Consultant (Upper Limb) 2 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicants An opportunity to join West Middlesex University Hospital Trauma Orthopaedic department for a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialist interest in Upper Limb Surgery. Appointment will be for a 10 PA Locum Consultants Fixed Term post. The successful candidate is expected to work with existing consultants and staff to ensure high-quality, comprehensive specialist orthopaedic care, and lead a team to deliver effective treatment for patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Dedicated regular theatre sessions will form part of the agreed job plan. The Post Holder Will Be Expected To Actively participate in departmental meetings, including Business, Mortality and Morbidity, and daily trauma meetings. Provide a comprehensive upper limb and primary arthroplasty outpatient and theatre service. Manage complex upper limb trauma cases beyond the remit of a general trauma surgeon. Take an active role in MDT discussions and ensure peer review standards are consistently met within the department.
