About the Role
Zero‑hours contract. Hours available each week during school term time, including weekends, for an initial fixed term of 12 months. Salary: £31.07 per hour, plus holiday pay at 12.07%. Higher rates payable for shared or group lessons.

Role Overview
As a Dance Teacher, you will support the delivery of the dance programmes, examinations and performances to pupils at the College. The dance programmes aim to have a life‑long impact on the pupils. The college is adding Street Dance to its lesson portfolio. In addition to over 80 pupils in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary and Tap, the department offers private, semi‑private and group lessons. Pupils can work towards Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examinations in Ballet and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) examinations in Modern, Contemporary and Tap, and recreational dance is also offered during the week.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Dance lessons (Street Dance, and supporting the existing programme).
- Prepare pupils for examinations and support their progression.
- Provide private, semi‑private and group lessons as required.
- Collaborate with the Dance department to develop and enrich the curriculum.
Qualifications
- Experience in teaching Street Dance.
- Flexibility with hours to meet the department’s needs.
- Experience in ISTD curriculum and supporting pupils through examinations is a plus.
Schedule
Anticipated hours: four hours per week during term time, likely late afternoon or weekend. Additional hours may become available based on College needs.
