Cheltenham Green Civils is looking for an experienced Estimating Manager to lead our estimating function as we continue our ambitious growth plans.
This is a senior role with genuine influence over the future direction of the business — working directly with the Managing Director and Commercial Team to drive our tender strategy and win the right work.

THE ROLE
- Managing enquiries from key clients
- Reviewing drawings and specifications
- Producing competitive tenders
- Measuring quantities
- Obtaining subcontractor quotations
- Pricing labour, plant and materials
- Value engineering
- Risk analysis
- Tender adjudications
- Client meetings
- Maintaining estimating databases
- Supporting business development
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Significant experience pricing civil engineering and groundworks projects
- Strong understanding of construction methods
- Commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
- Experience with Bluebeam, Excel or similar estimating software
- A drive to continually improve estimating processes
Experience pricing drainage, foundations, reinforced concrete, external works and infrastructure projects would be highly advantageous.
