Cheltenham College Prep School is looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic Key Worker to join our Nursery School from September 2026 onwards. The Key Worker will be responsible to the Head of Pre‑Prep for the provision of a variety of activities for a group of children in the Nursery School while maintaining the care and safety of our youngest learners. Pre‑Prep provides a vibrant and inspirational start to life at Cheltenham Prep. Occupying self‑contained buildings at the heart of the school campus and staffed by specialist Early Years and Key Stage 1 teachers, our aim is to provide a joyous environment in which children can thrive and reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a variety of activities for Nursery children.
  • Ensure the care and safety of youngest learners.
  • Work under the supervision of the Head of Pre‑Prep.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Level 3 NVQ or higher (or equivalent) in early years.
  • Extensive experience in EYFS Nursery and/or School settings.
  • Excellent communication and team‑work skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to prioritise workloads.
  • Passion for bringing joy and laughter into the Nursery School environment.

Salary: on College Scale, depending on experience. Hours: Full‑time, 38 weeks per year. Closing date: Sunday, 17 May 2026.
