About the Role
The Director of Admissions and Marketing will shape how Cheltenham College is perceived, tell its story, and lead the recruitment of pupils across the full 3‑18 age range. The role reports directly to the Head and is a key member of the College Executive Committee.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own an integrated recruitment and marketing strategy that positions the College as a destination of choice locally, nationally and internationally.
- Lead and inspire a team of 14 admissions and marketing professionals.
- Act as a brand ambassador, articulating and promoting the College’s distinctive ethos, values and educational vision to a wide range of audiences.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to embed pupil recruitment, brand and external relations at the heart of the College’s strategy.
Required Experience & Skills
- Extensive experience in the independent education sector or an exceptional commercial background that demonstrates an instinctive understanding of the landscape, strategic, commercial, relational and creative skills.
- Strong strategic planning, leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills in both verbal and written form.
