The Role:
In this role, you’ll build strong relationships with residents, act as their advocate, and support them to sustain successful, safe and comfortable tenancies. You’ll work proactively across your neighbourhood, tackling tenancy issues, resolving complex cases, and collaborating with partners to provide early intervention and tailored support. If you’re empathetic, solution focused, and passionate about helping people thrive, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in strengthening our communities.
Responsibilities:
- Advocate for tenants and ensure a positive customer experience
- Manage tenancies including visits, support, and resolving breaches
- Support vulnerable tenants through referrals and safeguarding
- Work with teams and partners to resolve housing and community issues
- Encourage tenant engagement and community involvement
- Maintain accurate records and follow policies and procedures
- Provide early support to help sustain tenancies
You:
- Experienced in challenging customer-facing roles, with strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledgeable in housing or similar statutory services, including tenancy management and relevant legislation
- Customer-focused, committed to delivering a positive tenant experience
- Able to work independently, manage workload, and collaborate with teams and partners
- Solution-focused and accountable, taking ownership of issues and learning from challenges
- Proven ability to deliver operational work and hold others accountable for service standards
