What you'll do:
- Prepare & plate fresh pasta dishes and other edible delights to our high standards.
- Prepare dine-in and delivery orders swiftly and accurately.
- Follow treasured recipes and techniques to ensure every dish meets our high standards.
- Help prepare and portion fresh ingredients, sauces, and pasta according to the guidelines.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant workplace, keeping health and safety hazards to a minimum.
- Stock and organise storage areas and fridges to enable smooth kitchen operations.
- Wash pots, pans, utensils and other kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Monitor ingredient supplies and notify the shift manager when supplies are low.
- Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and tools, reporting any issues to the manager on duty.
- Follow all food hygiene and health & safety guidelines for the safety of customers and staff.
- Work quickly and efficiently to support service, matching the kitchen’s pace and attention to detail.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions, bringing ideas and enthusiasm.
- Support colleagues, especially during busy times, and be willing to take on additional tasks as required.
Who are you:
- Prior experience as a kitchen porter or Back of House team member is a plus.
- Reliable, hardworking, and passionate about Italian cuisine.
- Understands food hygiene and health & safety practices.
- Works well under pressure, juggling multiple tasks calmly.
- Flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in doing things properly.
- Team player, always happy to help.
- Bonus: experience in coffee, wine, or pasta is advantageous.
