DEPARTMENT: Chelsea FC Foundation

LOCATION: Stamford Bridge/Cobham when required

CONTRACT: Permanent (35 hours – including evening and weekend work when required)

JOB FUNCTION: Supporting the delivery of Chelsea FC Foundation’s communications strategy through the creation and development of digital content, most notably video, which aligns with the key strategic objectives of Chelsea FC Foundation. Leading on capturing and editing dynamic video, along with other digital content, ensuring this supports the in‑house style of Chelsea FC and showcases the impact of Chelsea FC Foundation’s work in our local communities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead on the creation of dynamic video content for Chelsea FC Foundation’s communications channels including social media, website, and internal and external events.
  • Regular attendance at Chelsea FC Foundation activity (both at core locations of Stamford Bridge and Cobham along with community locations) and identifying key content opportunities within these activities.
  • Planning of digital content ideas for upcoming events and campaigns in relation to Chelsea FC Foundation.
  • Maximising the video and digital content output across all Chelsea FC Foundation related events and campaigns, prioritising how our work continues to bring people together, create healthier lives and shape brighter futures.
  • Work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders and lead on the creation of a digital content calendar for Chelsea FC Foundation.
  • Ensuring video and digital content is consistent with brand guidelines and messaging which enables compelling story‑telling relating to Chelsea FC Foundation’s work.
  • Carrying out general administrative and research duties related to digital content activity.

Experience and Skills

  • Proven relevant experience, preferably within the sports and/or charity industry. Candidates are encouraged to provide examples of their work portfolio.
  • Experience of working efficiently to produce industry‑leading digital content, including editing videography on location as needed.
  • Strong experience of using Adobe editing software.
  • A natural storyteller with a particular passion for football’s role within the community and a clear understanding of how to capture impactful stories in a professional manner.
  • A clear understanding of the role that digital content plays in telling the story of football’s role within the community.
  • Staying up to date with digital content trends within the sports and charity industries.
  • Track record of increasing reach and engagement through own creative ideas and individual management of digital content.
  • A team player with confidence to take the lead and guide other employees where necessary.
  • Ability to work alongside internal and external stakeholders and manage expectations.
  • Can think quickly and be decisive in high pressure situations, delivering to deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail.
