Job Function: To deliver safe, inclusive, high quality provision across all activities and provision.
Main Responsibilities:
- To support the Area Lead in the effective planning and execution of the programme running in London, including all In-School and Out of School activity, and the various activities delivered during the school holidays.
- To deliver safe, inclusive and high-quality coaching activity on a daily basis across the core programmes currently running.
- To support the area lead in the effective planning and delivery of After school clubs, lunch time clubs, breakfast clubs, curriculum coaching and school festival/tournaments.
- To lead on aspects of support for the sessional staff and contracted coaches, including induction and onboarding, training and CPD, mentoring opportunities, scheduling, appropriate resources and quality assuring.
- To carry out regular 1:1’s to review performance and KPI’s and objectives, involvement in team meetings and investing in their development/training opportunities/CPD.
- To undertake any other activities that may be required in addition to the role.
Measures of Performance:
- To deliver coaching sessions across the week at no less than 60% of the contracted hours.
- To ensure efficiencies at all activities and support the wider team in financial growth.
- To be a positive role model, creating a safe, positive, inclusive and fun environment.
- To build robust relationships with both internal and external customers, local schools, clubs, organisations, businesses, governing bodies and authorities.
- To help and support CFC Football Development Staff to mentor and guide sessional workers in best practice and professionalism.
- To sustain and further develop activities through participation growth.
Person Specification:
Qualifications:
- A minimum of the new FA Introduction to Football Coaching qualification (FA Level 1 is the equivalent qualification) working towards a UEFA C-License.
- In date FA Safeguarding Children course & the FA Introduction to First Aid in Football certificate.
- Enhanced DBS check.
Experience:
- Been involved in grassroots football as a participant and/or coach.
- Worked as part of a team within a sporting environment.
