We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist to join Chelsea FC on a sessional basis, supporting our Academy and Foundation programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an elite football environment, delivering high-quality medical support to emerging talent. The role is primarily focused on pitch-side cover across weekend fixtures and tournaments (both domestic and international), alongside evening training sessions. You’ll also contribute to clinic-based work, supporting the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of players within the men’s Academy. What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver a high-quality physiotherapy service across Chelsea FC Academy and Foundation programmes
- Provide pitch-side medical cover for Academy fixtures, including home and away matches and international tournaments
- Support training sessions and activities at Cobham and Stamford Bridge, including Foundation and Soccer School provision
- Assess, diagnose and treat injuries, working collaboratively with wider medical and performance staff
- Design and deliver individual rehabilitation programmes tailored to player needs
- Contribute to injury prevention and performance enhancement initiatives
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical records and documentation in line with club and regulatory standards
What You’ll Bring
- A recognised degree in Physiotherapy
- HCPC registration and current membership with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-graduate experience, ideally within a sports or football setting
- FA ITMMiF or ATMMiF qualification (essential for pitch-side cover)
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- A proactive, professional approach with a genuine passion for supporting player health and development
