LOCATION: Stamford Bridge (with regular delivery at educational establishments throughout the week)

CONTRACT: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, permanent

JOB FUNCTION: To deliver on various programmes as part of the Chelsea Works strand including Premier League Inspires, creating life-changing opportunities for young people that will empower them to develop personal, social, employability and life-skills, through face-to-face group sessions, workshops and social action projects.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Play Your Part):

  • To deliver the Chelsea Works programme including the ‘Premier League Inspires’ programme to schools, and other educational settings across a range of boroughs.
  • To plan and deliver engaging activities for participants across Chelsea Works targeted provision including the PL Inspires’ programme.
  • To collaborate with the Chelsea Works team, producing exciting and innovative content for targeted groups and those who may be hard to reach.
  • To ensure that all data, monitoring and evaluation is captured and inputted onto data management systems.
  • To be an inspiring role model, creating a safe, positive and fun environment in which to motivate and encourage children and young people to learn.
  • To undertake any other Foundation activities that may be required in addition to the role.

MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE (Here to Win):

  • To recruit, develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including schools, colleges, local authorities, voluntary sector organisations and funders.
  • To regularly quality assure and monitor the programme to ensure all objectives and KPIs are being achieved.
  • To achieve weekly and monthly targets as set out by the Senior Chelsea Works Officer.
  • To attend regular team and organisation meetings reporting key performance achievements/areas for improvement.
  • To understand the Chelsea FC Digital Intelligence Framework and ensure that it is demonstrated across provision.
  • To demonstrate the ability to drive and innovate new and existing opportunities individually and as part of a dynamic team.
  • To be an active member of the Premier League Inspires CCO Network and other relevant programme networks, sharing regular updates and examples of best practice.
  • Ensure success stories are captured through working with Chelsea FC Foundation/Chelsea FC media staff.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years\' experience in the industry sector
  • Minimum NGB Level 2 Sport Coaching Qualification, FA Emergency Aid and Safeguarding Certificates.
  • Tutor Qualifications.
  • HLTA Qualification or equivalent

Experience:

  • A knowledge and understanding of targeted programmes and other related activities.
  • Experience of delivering sessions to children and young people in primary and secondary school settings.
  • Ability to manage own timetable, meet multiple deadlines and work flexible hours, which may include evenings and school holidays.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of local primary and secondary schools.
  • Experience of working on data inputting and working with a data inputting system.
  • Knowledge of adhering to GDPR.
  • Knowledge of Chelsea FC Foundation.
  • Previous involvement within a Football Club’s Foundation, or other relevant charitable experience.
