Responsibilities
- Supporting the collection, cleaning and analysis of data from multiple sources (ticketing, merchandise, tours, sponsorships)
- Assisting in building dashboards, reports and visualisations to track commercial performance
- Supporting ad-hoc analysis
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand commercial needs and translate them into actionable insights
- Helping to automate workflows to improve efficiency
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications:
- Essential
- SQL – ability to extract and manipulate data from relational databases
- Excel – Advanced functionality including pivot tables and formulas
- Power BI (or similar BI tool) – Ability to create dashboards and visualisations
- Basic Python – For data cleaning, analysis and simple automation
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Strong curiosity and problem-solving mindset
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform tools (BigQuery)
- Understanding of data pipelines and dbt concepts
- Basic understanding of commercial analytics in sports, hospitality or retail
- Exposure to ticketing, CRM, or POS systems
- Interest in football or the sports industry
Experience:
- Essential
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative subject
- 0-2 years' experience in data, analytics or a commercial role
- Work experience in sports, hospitality, or retail
- Project experience with GCP, dbt or Python-based analytics
