JOB FUNCTION: To support the development and delivery of Chelsea Foundation’s Futures programmes, creating meaningful opportunities for young people aged 14–25 to develop employability skills, explore career pathways and access experiences that support their future aspirations. Working closely with schools, partners and internal teams to deliver high-quality interventions aligned with Chelsea FC Foundation’s strategic objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of Futures programmes and interventions, including career education workshops, experiences of the workplace opportunities and employability activities.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with partner schools, supporting recruitment, communication and engagement of young people across Futures programmes.
• Liaise with local stakeholders, employers and community organisations to support the development of opportunities that meet the needs of young people and local communities.
• Work collaboratively with Chelsea FC Foundation teams and Club departments to identify opportunities, share best practice and support joined-up pathways for young people.
• Support the delivery of wider Chelsea FC Foundation events and initiatives, contributing to positive participant experiences and the achievement of Foundation strategic objectives.
• Support the capture of success stories and impact outcomes, working with Chelsea FC Foundation/Chelsea FC media teams where appropriate.
• Support a positive, inclusive, high-performing team culture.
• Ensure all activities are delivered in line with Chelsea FC Foundation safeguarding, health & safety and operational procedures.
• Develop high quality, curriculum-aligned resources in line with National Curriculum and DfE guidance, and any other relevant framework.
• Undertake any Foundation activities that may be required in addition to the role.

Measures of Performance:

• Deliver high-quality Futures programmes that support positive outcomes for young people, including improved confidence, employability skills and awareness of future pathways.
• Develop positive relationships with schools, employers, partners and internal stakeholders to enhance opportunities available to participants.
• Ensure programme monitoring and evaluation requirements are completed accurately, including participant data, feedback collection and reporting requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and growth of Chelsea FC Foundation’s Futures provision.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• Essential: A relevant qualification in youth work, training, education or community development (or equivalent demonstrable experience).
• Desirable: A professional qualification in career guidance, career development, or employability delivery (at Level 6 or equivalent).

Experience:

• Essential: Experience delivering programmes, workshops or activities with young people, ideally within an education, charity, community or employability setting.
• Experience building positive relationships with schools, partners or external organisations.
• Experience supporting monitoring, evaluation and reporting processes.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Knowledge and understanding of careers education, employability skills and youth pathways.

• Desirable: Experience supporting experiences of the workplace activities, volunteering or employer engagement programmes.
• Knowledge of Chelsea Foundation, football charities or community sport programmes.
• Knowledge of the Premier League Foundation’s core mission, national activity portfolio, and the delivery models used by professional football club charities.
