DEPARTMENT: Commercial Insights

LOCATION: Stamford Bridge, London

CONTRACT: Full‑Time, Permanent (35 hours Monday – Friday)

This hybrid role requires five days on site at Stamford Bridge and four work‑from‑home days each month. Applications will be welcomed as soon as possible; the position may be filled before the stated closing date, so please submit early.

The Commercial Strategy and Insights Executive will support the team in leading key strategic initiatives linked to Chelsea’s commercial partner programme and serve as an integral member of the in‑house commercial insights function.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate data, detailed analysis, and concise conclusions are presented in all reporting.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external agencies to achieve shared reporting objectives and enhance strategic capabilities.
  • Support the Sponsorship Sales team by providing results and conclusions that can be demonstrated to prospective partners of Chelsea FC.
  • Assist the Commercial Strategy and Insights Manager by using data and insights to craft compelling business cases for prospective partners.
  • Provide ad‑hoc data support to the wider Commercial department.

Measures of Performance:

  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects and contacts.
  • Deliver a high standard of reporting to current club partners.
  • Supply accurate data to the wider commercial team to inform future processes.
  • Help develop in‑house capability and functionality for CFC commercial insights.

Personal Specification:

  • Demonstrated ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights to support commercial decision‑making.
  • Experience working in a professional environment such as consultancy, agency, rights holder, or similar, with exposure to client or stakeholder management.
  • Proven track record of contributing to projects that drive revenue growth, partnerships, or business performance.
  • Strong understanding of commercial principles and the ability to apply them in a sports, entertainment, or related industry context.
  • Comfortable working with diverse teams and stakeholders, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.
