Overview
Chelsea Chess is looking for a chess coach to join our team teaching children and adults across London, in-person.
Responsibilities
- Teach 1:1 or small-group chess lessons to students ranging from complete beginners to intermediate/advanced players
- Flexible hours β daytime, evening, and/or weekend slots depending on your availability
- Travel to students across London (area to suit you)
- Provide lessons in-person across London as required
Compensation and terms
- Freelance/self-employed β rate discussed on application, based on experience
- Rate between Β£25-Β£40 depending on experience
Qualifications
- Some competitive chess experience (club, county, or online rating a plus)
- Comfortable and patient teaching kids and/or beginners
- Willing to undergo a DBS check (holding one already preferred)
- Based in or near London, able to travel to lessons
- Reliable, personable, and genuinely enjoys teaching
