Norman Broadbent is delighted to be partnering with Chelsea Arts Club on the appointment of its new Managing Director & Club Secretary. Founded in 1890 by Whistler and his Chelsea contemporaries, Chelsea Arts Club is one of London's most distinctive member-owned institutions. With 4,200 Members - the majority of them practising artists - it remains a true artists' club: a working cultural home in the heart of Chelsea, with a thriving hospitality operation, ten bedrooms, and one of the country's most active exhibition and events programmes.
The Club is now seeking its next Managing Director & Club Secretary to lead the next chapter - a moment of renewal, investment and opportunity. Working alongside an engaged membership, a committed Board and Council, the postholder will steward the Club as it modernises its operations and prepares for future generations, whilst preserving the character, values and eccentricity that have made it unique for more than a century.
This is a rare opportunity to lead one of London's most distinctive cultural institutions. Applications close at midday BST on Friday 3rd July.
