You’ll be working as a dedicated member of our masonry team, helping to create an individual and lasting memory for our families. As a Fixer Mason, you’ll manage and carry out all day‑to‑day masonry production activities, including preparation, completion and fixing of all types of memorials to the highest standards. In this varied role you’ll be involved with fixing memorials, grave inscriptions, learning to cut stone as well as other duties as required.
Being NAMM or BRAMM licence would be an advantage, but you don’t need them and full training and support will be provided. As part of this role you’ll be required to drive one of our company vehicles, and you will therefore need to hold a full driving licence. A confident communicator with a passion for detail will see you successful in this role. As a representative of our funeral services within the local community, you’ll be comfortable building good working relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, local clergy, celebrants and doctors. This role will require heavy lifting and a great deal of outdoor work. You’ll need to be comfortable working in potential adverse weather conditions.
