We are looking for a dynamic, sensitive and adaptable leader to be our new Team Rector, who can inspire growth, foster collaboration, and engage deeply with the diverse communities within our multi-parish, semi-rural benefice.
The ideal candidate would be someone with:
- the desire, energy and expertise to lead a new team ministry of 18 parishes as they begin their shared journey, alongside 3 Team Vicar colleagues (2 of whom are already in post)
- strong leadership experience and the ability to balance responsibilities and delegate effectively, acting with sensitivity and fairness, and making difficult decisions when necessary
- a focus on growth, spiritual and numerical, particularly among families and young people
- fresh ideas about how to be a visible presence in each community, engaging effectively with people from all backgrounds, whether in church, schools, or community spaces
- the ability to adapt to various worship traditions and styles, ministering across unique congregations with energy and resilience
- a desire to lead, empower, and encourage others in their journey of discipleship, vocation, and ministry, valuing everyone’s gifts and experiences
