An exciting opportunity has arisen at Chelmsford College for two confident and motivated professionals to join our team in a key role supporting students in securing meaningful work placements across both campuses. The role is based primarily on-site and involves working closely with local employers to create high-quality placement opportunities that align with curriculum needs and meet all contractual and administrative requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with local employers to create high-quality placement opportunities that align with curriculum needs and meet all contractual and administrative requirements.
  • Support young people in preparing for the workplace, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to succeed.
  • Manage placement records, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with all processes.
  • Collaborate with curriculum managers to support stakeholder engagement and coordinate events that enhance the student experience and strengthen employer relationships.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Background in business development, employer engagement or sales experience.
  • Proven ability to build partnerships, generate leads and drive results.
  • Strong IT and administrative skills.
  • Full driving licence and own transport to make employer workplace visits.

Benefits and Conditions

Starting salary will be dependent on qualifications, skills and experience. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
