The thriving team of Science, part of a busy department offering health, care, science and sport, are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic part time Science lecturer to teach primarily on our Level 3 Forensic and Biomedical programmes, with the opportunity to teach related subjects throughout the department.
The successful candidate will be joining the team at a time when involvement in the support and design of the new curricula for 16-18 and adult learning programmes will play a part in the role.
The ideal candidate will need to have experience in teaching and assessing Level 3 BTEC Science with specific experience in teaching and assessing forensic and/or biomedical science related modules. Experience of working in a relevant industry, teaching A level or T level as well as curriculum design and delivery would be advantageous.
You should also have a science degree and a level 5 teaching qualification. You should have an excellent record of teaching and learning practice and demonstrate the ability to prepare, plan and deliver high quality lessons in an engaging and exciting way to support learners.
