Lecturer in Travel and Tourism (part-time)
The thriving team of Business and Professional Studies are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic part-time Travel and Tourism Lecturer to teach primarily on our Level 2 and Level 3 Travel and Tourism programmes, with the opportunity to teach related subjects throughout the department. The successful candidate will be joining the team at a time when involvement in the support and design of the new curricula for 16‑18 and adult learning programmes will play a part in this role.
Key responsibilities:
- Teach Level 2 and Level 3 Travel and Tourism programmes; teach related subjects throughout the department.
- Support and design the new curricula for 16‑18 and adult learning programmes.
Qualifications and experience:
- Experience in teaching and assessing NCFE programmes.
- Experience working in a relevant industry, curriculum design and delivery.
- Ideally hold a teaching qualification.
- Excellent record of teaching and learning practice and the ability to prepare, plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons.
Starting salary will depend on qualifications, skills and experience. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
