Chelmsford College is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Assessor to inspire and support our apprentices. The successful candidate must have extensive industry experience, strong ICT skills, and the ability to work in a well-organised and flexible manner. Knowledge of Smart Assessor would be desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Join the Building Services and Renewable Energy Department as a Work Based Tutor assessing within Electrical Installation, supporting apprentices completing the Level 3 Standard.
  • Carry out site visits, monitoring learner progress, and preparing learners for their AM2 assessment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Extensive industry experience in electrical installation and assessment.
  • Strong ICT skills.
  • Experience with the Smart Assessor platform is desirable.

Other Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check required.
  • Ability to work in a well-organised and flexible manner.
