Chelmsford College is looking for an outstanding Work Based Tutor to support the Teaching Assistant qualification programmes. The successful candidate will join a team of experienced Work Based Tutors in Teaching and Early Years and will be expected to deliver flexible, high quality work‑based learning provision.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver practical assessment and oversight of apprenticeship standards for Teaching Assistant trainees.
  • Support trainees in developing learning outcomes and progress.
  • Work collaboratively with other tutors and early years staff.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the early years work‑based learning provision.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to at least Level 3 in your subject specialism.
  • Assessor qualification in apprenticeship standards, or willing to work towards it.
  • Desirable: IV award.
  • Willingness to work flexibly.

Additional Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity and safeguarding children and young people.
