Description Help shape a new approach to adult learning in Chelmsford Chelmsford College is launching an exciting new Skills Hub in the heart of Chelmsford, creating a welcoming and accessible learning environment for adults. Bringing together Skills Bootcamps, SWAPs, Adult Skills Fund programmes and employer-focused training, the Hub will support adults to build skills, confidence and pathways into employment, apprenticeships and further learning. We're looking for an exceptional Skills Hub Manager to help bring this vision to life.
About the Role
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the Skills Hub.
- Coordinate administration, facilities and room bookings.
- Support the delivery of adult learning programmes, including Skills Bootcamps and SWAPs.
- Support learner onboarding, attendance, engagement and wellbeing.
- Oversee safeguarding, welfare, health and safety, and first aid arrangements.
- Handle concerns and complaints professionally and confidently.
- Liaise with internal departments and external partners.
- Support employer engagement, recruitment activities and community events.
- Help drive the ongoing development and success of the Skills Hub.

You are an organised, proactive and people-focused professional who enjoys making things happen. You'll have excellent communication skills, build positive relationships easily and remain calm under pressure.

Hours
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum
Salary
Up to Β£40,615 per annum
