We are seeking an innovative, enthusiastic and motivated Lecturer in Functional Skills and GCSE English. The successful candidate will join a team and may become involved in Pearson GCSE English Language 2.0, AQA GCSE English Language, and Pearson Functional Skills English from Entry Level through to Level 1.
Responsibilities- Deliver GCSE and Functional Skills English lessons across the two Chelmsford sites.
- Prepare, plan, and deliver high‑quality lessons.
- Assess students in Functional Skills English.
- Contribute to curriculum development for Pearson and AQA programmes.
- Subject‑specific qualifications in English.
- Previous teaching experience in GCSE and/or Functional Skills English.
- Up‑to‑date subject knowledge and experience.
- Ability to prepare, plan and deliver lessons.
- Experience assessing Functional Skills English is beneficial.
- Newly qualified or unqualified teachers may also be considered.
