As Head of Department, You Will:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across all curriculum areas.
- Develop and implement effective departmental strategies that enhance quality, improve outcomes, and support continuous improvement.
- Manage resources, budgets, and staffing to ensure efficient and high-performing provision.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employers, partners, and awarding bodies.
- Lead the growth of apprenticeship and adult learning programmes by identifying new opportunities, strengthening engagement, and enhancing programme quality.
- Analyse performance data, develop meaningful metrics, and report progress to senior leadership to inform decision-making and future planning.
- Drive innovation in curriculum design, digital learning, and industry-aligned skills development.
