We are seeking a dynamic, confident and skilled creative person, who is passionate about young people and has good technical abilities in Creative Production. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of bespoke programmes across the department. As technician, you will play a key role in inspiring, encouraging and helping to advance young people by managing equipment and supporting sessions that improve their personal and professional skills, using creative production as an engagement tool. You will lead in the managing of Fashion and Textiles equipment and materials, communicating with the Curriculum Team supporting planning, implementing and delivery of lessons; ensuring that all are delivered effectively to achieve maximum impact. In addition to this you will be required to support students and coach them to produce content for live client briefs and run exhibitions.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to proficiently use a sewing machine
- Be able to use Microsoft Office suite
- Have experience of fashion & textiles processes
