Overview
The College is looking to recruit one College Campus Officer.
Responsibilities
- Campus Officers are responsible for ensuring that each of the College's campuses are safe and secure.
- The services this post provides will be to deliver high quality environments for the College learners and staff.
- The candidate will monitor, offer support to others, and promote good learner behaviours across the campuses, helping to create positive campus environments in close liaison with Curriculum and Student Support teams.
- The successful candidate will monitor the use of public areas, including regular patrols of the campuses, CCTV and access control, monitoring the conduct of learners, encouraging reasonable and fair behaviours, and reporting any breach of the Code of Conduct.
Qualifications
- Ideally the candidate will have knowledge of standard security and safety protocols having had experience in a similar role together with an SIA front line licence.
- The candidate should be first aid trained or be willing to undertake the relevant training.
