We are looking for a friendly and approachable person to join our management team at South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre, who can work well under pressure, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to lead and motivate a team, focused on high customer service standards.
The Duty Manager is responsible for the day to day operation of the centre, ensuring the centre is well maintained, clean, safe and compliant with brand standards at all times, supporting every department, ensuring adequate staff coverage. Applicants will, ideally, have a comprehensive employment history of working within a leisure centre or a similar environment and have in-depth experience of working in a supervisory or managerial role. Whilst it is desirable for the applicant to hold the National Pool Lifeguard qualification, this isn’t essential and training can be provided.
This position is offered on a Casual basis covering the opening hours of the centre, from 6.00am to 10.30pm, including weekends and bank holidays.
