We are actively seeking a service technician and MOT tester to join our team at Chelmsford Autos. The job role requires you to carry out general servicing, repairs, maintenance and diagnostics on all makes and models of cars and light vans.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Trained at level 3 mechanics and qualified MOT tester, however training can be provided for the right candidate
  • A genuine interest in cars
  • Reliable and hard working
  • Able to perform under pressure
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • A full UK driving licence is required.

Working days are Monday to Thursday 8am - 6pm. Fridays 8am - 5pm. 1 in 3 Saturdays off - working Saturdays are 9am - 1pm. No Sunday working.

Rate of pay to be discussed depending on experience and qualifications.
