Chelmer Valley High School is seeking an exceptional Assistant Headteacher to join our dynamic leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and talented leader to make a significant impact in a thriving, oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive school with 1,200 students on roll.
We are deliberately keeping this role open to attract the strongest candidate. The exact responsibilities will be tailored to the successful applicant's skills and experience. This means the role could suit someone from a Pastoral discipline or a Curriculum, Outcomes and Teaching discipline. We welcome candidates from all teaching backgrounds; however, a strength in teaching Maths or Science would be advantageous but is not essential.
