About this Role
As a CoverSupervisor at Chellaston Academy, you will play a vital role in ensuringcontinuity of learning when teaching staff are absent. Working with studentsacross Key Stages 3 and 4, you will supervise pre-planned lessons, maintain apositive and purposeful learning environment, and support students to stayengaged and make progress. Alongside classroom supervision, you will contributeto the wider life of the school by supporting examinations, educational visits,and departmental administration. This is an excellent opportunity for someonewho enjoys working with young people, thrives in a varied environment, andwants to make a meaningful contribution to student success.
Who We're Looking For
We are lookingfor a confident, organised and enthusiastic individual who can inspire positivebehaviour and build strong relationships with students and colleagues. You willhave experience working with young people, excellent communication and organisationalskills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a busy schoolenvironment. A proactive approach, good ICT skills, flexibility, and acommitment to safeguarding are essential. Whether you are considering a futurecareer in teaching or bring experience from an educational setting, you will bepassionate about helping students achieve their best and embody the values ofIntegrity, Care and Excellence that are central to life at Chellaston Academy.
