We are looking for a Developer to join our technology team. While you will be Front-End focused, we also like to dabble in Python, PHP or whatever might be needed to deliver the best solution. You will work closely with other members of the technology team, ensuring all our projects are of the very highest standard. You will contribute actively to the team to stay up to date with the latest in the technology landscape.
This is a 1 year fixed term contract in the first instance with a view to be extended.
What the day to day looks like:
- You will be delivering high-quality Front-End solutions that are integral to the customer’s goals.
- Undertake feasibility studies - 'can it be done?'
- Produce estimates - 'how long will it take?'
- Share your ideas with your colleagues in the technology team.
- Participate constructively in inter-department communications.
Strings to your bow:
- Front-End development - HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript, working knowledge of ReactJS.
- Experience of templating e.g., Handlebars, task runners e.g., Gulp, Yarn.
- Good API knowledge and use of Restful services.
- Knowledge of analytics and tracking.
- You know your way around cross-browser quirks & nuances & responsive web development.
Plus, ideally:
- Adobe Experience Manager – page creation, template/component usage, publishing workflow.
- Experience in an agency would be a bonus.
- If you’ve used Github actions, AWS that would be great.

- You have a great eye for detail and an understanding of basic UX principles.
- You’re comfortable working alone but not a 'lone-wolf'.
- You work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
