The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
We’re looking for a Developer to come and join our technology team. Whilst you’ll be Front-End focused, we also like to dabble in a spot of Python, PHP or whatever might be needed to deliver the best solution. You will work closely with other members of the technology team, making sure all our projects are of the very highest standard. You’ll contribute actively to the team to make sure we all stay up to date with the latest in technology landscape.
As with all Cheil roles, this is a 1 year fixed term contract in the first instance with a view to be extended.
What the day to day looks like…
- You’ll be delivering high-quality Front-End solutions that are integral to the customer’s goals.
- Undertake feasibility studies - 'can it be done?’
- Produce estimates - 'how long will it take?'
- Share your ideas with your colleagues in the technology team.
- Participate constructively in inter-department communications.
Strings to your bow...
- Experience of templating e.g., Handlebars, task runners e.g., Gulp, Yarn.
- Good API knowledge and use of Restful services.
- Knowledge of analytics and tracking.
Plus, ideally:
- Adobe Experience Manager – page creation, template/component usage, publishing workflow.
- Experience in an agency would be a bonus.
- If you’ve used Github actions, AWS that would be great.

- You have a great eye for detail and have an understanding of basic UX principles.
- You’re comfortable working alone but not a ‘lone-wolf’.
- Work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- You like to take the initiative to get things done and let your team know what you’ve achieved.
