We are on the hunt for an Account Manager to join one of our Digital solution teams. You’ll be passionate about all things digital, confident in building long term trusting relationships with clients and be commercially savvy. You’ll be working within one of our top performing solution teams that deliver best in class B2B solutions to the UK .com site. B2B is a new area of focus for our client and as a result, harbours huge opportunity both for our client and Cheil. The team is enabled through a dedicated team, focusing on data and strategic insights to produce UX & technical solutions. The team operate using Agile principles so having an understanding and experience of this is essential.

With your client, who operates as the Product Owner, you will shape the briefs that come from our client, and will work with your dedicated solutions team as well as the senior discipline leads within Cheil. You will play an integral role in striving for best in class solutions whilst balancing client needs and timelines. Finally, and most importantly, you will have overall accountability for the annual revenue for the B2B solution team.

We offer a hybrid working policy with a minimum of 3 days per week in the London office. There may be the need to travel to our client's offices in Chertsey from time to time.

Role requirements

  • A natural ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships based on trust and transparency is core to our success and support of the team.
  • Ability to talk design, digital transformation, business transformation, change management, data, and technology at senior level.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters specific to your Solution Team.
  • Be a domain expert for SEUK and your solution team, helping challenge the client’s requirements, brief clarification, direction and shaping opportunities to ensure we deliver best in class solutions.
  • Be a surrogate Product Owner, stepping in to confirm Samsung business priority and team focus, ensuring what we deliver is what the Samsung Product Owner would also expect.
  • Be commercially minded, ensuring the finances of your projects are kept up to date and new business opportunities are actively sought and/or identify areas of improvement.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Have an eye for quality.
  • Have experience of working with the Agile methodology and be an advocate of it within the business.
  • Familiarity of working with Jira and Confluence is a bonus.
  • Motivate, inspire and empower a cross-functional digital team to spot opportunities, see beyond challenges, drive forward opportunities and deliver to the highest possible standard.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Experience in managing single project budgets of over £500k over a 12 month period.
