What does a Senior Demand Generation Manager do at Busuu? We are looking for a strategic and execution‑oriented Senior Demand Generation Manager to drive our B2B growth engine. This role is responsible for the performance of our demand generation strategy, bridging the gap between high‑impact field marketing and digital inbound channels. You will own the end‑to‑end execution of our B2B events across core regions (Italy, France, Spain, DACH, and ROW) while simultaneously collaborating with our internal Paid and Organic teams to optimize campaigns that fuel a high‑quality sales pipeline. This is a "full‑stack" marketing role for someone who loves the energy of live events but is equally obsessed with conversion rates, CAC, and lead scoring. We are looking for someone who views AI not just as a tool, but as a core component of campaign strategy and execution.
Responsibilities
- Demand Gen Strategy & Performance: Oversee the performance of all B2B demand generation efforts, ensuring a steady flow of MQLs and SQLs to meet revenue and growth targets. You will help shape and build our AI‑driven capabilities, contributing to the implementation of tools that forecast pipeline, conduct predictive analytics, and identify high‑propensity accounts.
- Strategic End‑to‑End Field Marketing: Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of B2B events across core regions, looking to establish AI‑driven predictive analytics to identify high‑impact events and account‑based marketing (ABM) tactics to personalize on‑site experiences. You will manage everything from logistics and contracts to on‑site execution and post‑event reporting.
- Paid Media Collaboration: Work closely with the internal Paid Marketing team to brief, set up, and optimize B2B campaigns (LinkedIn, Google Ads, etc.) that align with field activities and broader business goals. You will champion the use of AI for real‑time campaign optimization, creative testing, and automated bidding strategies to maximize ROI.
- Inbound & Content Alignment: Partner with the Organic/Content team to develop and distribute content (whitepapers, webinars, case studies) designed specifically to drive organic inbound leads and nurture existing prospects.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with New Business and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on lead follow‑up and clear ownership of the pipeline journey.
- Operations & Analytics: Track and analyze performance across all channels (Paid, Organic, and Field), managing lead data within our CRM (HubSpot) to report on ROI and marketing‑sourced opportunities. You will use AI‑enhanced reporting within HubSpot to provide deeper insights into the customer journey and attribution.
- Budget & Procurement: Oversee event‑related contracts, POs, and invoices, ensuring all activities remain within budget and adhere to internal processes.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in B2B Demand Generation or Field Marketing, ideally within a SaaS or EdTech environment.
- Full‑Funnel Expertise: A strong understanding of how to balance "brand" (events) with "demand" (paid/organic) to create a cohesive growth strategy.
- AI & Technical Mindset: Strong "AI‑first" mentality with a track record of using AI tools for campaign optimization, predictive modeling, and workflow automation.
- Project Management: Exceptional skills in managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Technical Literacy: Proficient in CRM systems (ideally HubSpot) and comfortable using data to drive decision‑making.
- Communication: Fluency in English with strong written skills. Additional European languages (French, Spanish, Italian, or German) are a strong plus.
- Operational Rigor: Highly organized with experience managing contracts, approvals, and budgets.
