About the Role
Work as a Sales Development Representative in Busuu's Italian expansion, supporting companies to build spoken confidence in international workforces. You will open doors, spark meaningful conversations, and directly shape Busuu's revenue and reach by converting strategic prospects into high-value pipeline opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Architect & scale AI-powered prospecting workflows; design, test, and optimize them to improve efficiency and conversion across prospecting and qualification.
- Translate learnings into playbooks and insights.
- Design and execute targeted outbound strategies using industry context, stakeholder mapping, and intent signals to generate high-intent opportunities with Enterprise and mid-market accounts in Italy.
- Map and engage HR, L&D, and Procurement professionals, leveraging a mix of AI-driven outreach and targeted human engagement (including cold calling).
- Own pipeline generation end-to-end: mapping, prospecting, qualifying leads, scheduling demos for BDMs.
- Convert inbound leads into opportunities.
- Track all activity and provide data-driven insights in HubSpot to inform sales strategy.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to continuously sharpen messaging and improve conversion.
Qualifications
- A 1‑2+ year track record of success in a commercial or sales role, ideally in Ed-Tech or HR-Tech.
- Excellent at prompting AI and constantly looking for ways to improve using agentic AI.
- Proven ability to build outbound pipeline and engage decision-makers across multiple channels in Italy.
- Comfortable with cold calling.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into action.
- High ambition, discipline, and a genuine hunger to learn and grow.
- Excellent communication skills; confident when engaging with C-level executives.
- Fluency and excellent command of Italian and English.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha.
- Knowledge of MEDDPICC is a plus.
