An exciting opportunity has arisen at a vibrant and popular pub with a 75-seat restaurant, to join their friendly and passionate kitchen team. Due to the departure of their current Sous Chef, they are looking for a Sous Chef and Chef de Partie to help deliver exceptional dining experiences to their guests.

About the Role:

  • Sous Chef: You will support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, maintaining high food standards, and leading a team during busy services.
  • Chef de Partie: Focus on preparing fresh, classic pub dishes and small plates in a small but efficient kitchen. You will take ownership of your section and ensure smooth kitchen operations during services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in a team to prepare and serve fresh, classic pub food and small plates.
  • Help deliver up to 200 covers on Sundays, with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients.
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
  • Assist in kitchen stock management and ordering.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service and high-quality dishes.

About You:

  • Sous Chef: Experienced in leading a kitchen team, with a strong understanding of kitchen management, quality control, and staff training.
  • Chef de Partie: A solid chef with experience in working in fast-paced kitchens, preferably in a pub or casual dining environment.
