Our client is looking for an experienced and dedicated Chef de Partie to join their Kitchen Brigade. The ideal candidate will be career-minded and hardworking with a passion for food. Previous experience of working as a Chef de Partie is essential, as well as motivation, aptitude and commitment.
The ideal candidate will:
- have good culinary skills and experience of working as a Chef De Partie in previous role, preferably in a quality restaurant/culinary environment. (We would also consider experienced Demi Chef with appropriate skills.)
- Ability to run kitchen sections services in absence of Kitchen Management, as and when required;
- Prepare, cook and serve all items on the menu to a high standard
- Preparing food as per seasonal demand
- Assist in the prep & cooking of all other food required during their hours of work
- Following the recipes and presentation specifications whilst preparing food and keeping up to date with any change

- Mise en place for the following day
- Well organised, reliable, punctual and precise, with a keen eye for detail & creative;
- has food safety training, high standards of cleanliness & relevant culinary qualifications
- ability to deal with deliveries and stock carrying/rotation, and maintain high standards of food hygiene and place orders for kitchen supplies when required;
- has good interpersonal and communication skills and be good at working as part of a team is essential;
- ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure, remaining calm in high stress situations;
- have a solid understanding of kitchen hygiene standards and procedures to ensure hygiene compliance
- is enthusiastic, motivational, creative and someone who strives for excellence.
