We are currently on the search for a talented Sous Chef for a 1AA Rosette quality country inn with rooms in Dumfriesshire, Scotland. The establishment has been lovingly restored and is now family run. The family has added their flair and individuality in all 13 rooms, finished to the highest of standards and offering some of the best accommodation and food in the local area.
The Restaurant on average does around 100 covers a day over breakfast, lunch & dinner using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. The talented team of chefs work to a high standard to maintain the well-deserved 1 AA Rosette level it currently holds, pushing forward for that 2nd AA Rosette. The food is a nice blend of gastronomic traditional pub favorites to high-end European favourites cooked to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in a similar environment with a can-do attitude to the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. This is a great opportunity for a Chef De Partie to step up and develop their skills to work as part of a passionate enthusiastic family-run brigade to further develop the business as well as their career. The average working week will be around 45 hours which spans 5 days over 7.
