Nestled at the foot of Pendle Hill, in the heart of the Lancashire countryside, our clients establishments are renowned for delivering exceptional food, drink, and unforgettable experiences β€” whether it\’s an elegant wedding, a casual meal with friends, or a luxury countryside retreat.

We\’re now seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join the kitchen brigade at our client\’s esteemed gastro pub with rooms in Burnley.

What You\’ll Do

  • Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of a busy, high-quality kitchen
  • Deliver exceptional dishes using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients
  • Help manage kitchen operations, food safety, and staff training
  • Assist with menu development and ensure consistency across brasserie, bar, and event menus
  • Bring creativity and precision to everything from Sunday roasts to fine-dining events

What We\’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
  • A passion for hearty, seasonal British cuisine with a refined touch
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to lead and inspire a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts across a 5-day week
  • Someone who values teamwork, family ethos, and takes pride in high standards
