About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead a dedicated kitchen team within a values-led organisation that provides meals for residents, visitors, and staff across several outlets, including a tearoom, event catering, and internal dining services. Set in a peaceful and picturesque rural location, the site welcomes a variety of guests throughout the year and prides itself on offering high-quality, freshly prepared food with a focus on care, tradition, and community.
Main Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Lead the delivery of quality food across the tearoom and event catering functions, including menu development.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to deliver food for special events and community dining.
- Ensure that production, preparation, and presentation of food consistently meet the highest standards.
- Liaise with the operations and finance teams regarding stock control and ordering.
- Uphold all Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.
- Foster strong collaboration with Front of House teams to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
- Continue to develop your culinary skills and contribute to the growth of the organisation.
- Demonstrate leadership, creativity, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Experience:
You will have proven experience working at Head Chef level and a track record of maintaining and improving health and safety procedures.
Skills and Attributes:
You will bring excellent communication and leadership skills, integrity, professionalism, and a positive, adaptable attitude.
