The Opportunity
Are you a talented Chef looking for a great work-life balance? This could be the perfect move. We are recruiting for a skilled and enthusiastic Team Chef to join a busy, independently owned fresh food café in Ormskirk. You will be part of a small, close-knit team known for its positive culture, strong teamwork and commitment to preparing quality dishes fully in-house. The kitchen is open plan and customer facing with friendly faces all around. This is a fast-paced, high-footfall environment, so you will need to remain calm under pressure while maintaining speed, consistency and attention to detail.
As an independently owned venue, you will benefit from direct access to the owners, quick decision-making and the freedom to invest in and upgrade equipment when needed. There is no corporate red tape. The kitchen team is passionate, friendly and stable, with very low staff turnover. The owner genuinely values the team and takes pride in maintaining a supportive and respectful workplace.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a chef in a similar fresh food environment
