We are searching for a strong Junior Sous Chef to join one of the leading hotels in the U.K. The hotel is part of a fantastic hotel collection with properties all over the world. The Hotel has a 5-star rating and has also won a Michelin star plus 3AA rosettes over the past few years after when a strong exec joined the property.

The ideal candidate will have a stable working history in 4 & 5-star hotels which operate multi outlet dining venues. The Junior Sous Chef will report directly to the Head Chef and assist with food operation training junior members of staff, up keeping all health & hygiene.

The salary on offer is £30,460 which is inclusive of service. Overall, we are looking for an exceptional individual that has experience in some of the best properties in the country, the right candidate will have a great determination to benefit their career.

Candidate Role:
  • Assume charge of a section and maintain to a high standard
  • Liaise with senior management on all matters regarding food service and maintaining standards
  • Develop junior members of the team
  • Have a keen eye for details and maintaining food standards
  • Work with the senior team to develop the overall running of the kitchen
  • Assume joint responsibility for the overall running of designated sections throughout the kitchen
  • Maintain strict health, safety and hygiene protocols
  • Ensure consistency in your work
  • Participate in daily food prep and cooking in service
  • To maintain all hygiene and safety standards with particular emphasis on health and hygiene
  • To produce and deliver high quality food to our customers, in accordance to the standards agreed
  • To assist the Head Chef by being creative, flexible and proactive in reviewing menu content and product standards
  • Be responsible for stock control of any given section, and all preparations are consistent with the chefs exacting standards

  • A strong, experienced Chef De Partie would be considered
