We are searching for a Chef De Partie to join one of the leading hotels in the U.K. The hotel is part of a fantastic hotel collection with properties all over the world. The Hotel has a separate casual dining restaurant that currently holds 2AA rosettes, giving guests a less formal dining atmosphere but offering still a high level of cooking.
The ideal candidate will have a stable working history in 4 & 5-star hotels or currently working in a rosette-accredited restaurant. The salary on offer is £25,291 which is inclusive of service charge. Overall we are looking for an individual that has experience in some of the best properties in the country. The right candidate will have a great determination, passion for food and want to benefit their career.
Candidate Role- Work with the senior team to benefit your career
- Ensure the consistency of all produce is in line with the chef’s specification and standards
- Assist in each department – restaurant/C&B and wedding functions
- Assist in daily food prep and service
- Assist in daily running of the kitchen
- Work with the senior team to develop the overall running of the kitchen
- Assume joint responsibility for the overall running of designated sections throughout the kitchen
- Maintain strict health, safety and hygiene protocols
- Ensure consistency in your work
- Participate in daily food prep and cooking in service
- To maintain all hygiene and safety standards with particular emphasis on health and hygiene
- To produce and deliver high quality food to our customers, in accordance to the standards agreed
- To assist the Head Chef by being creative, flexible and proactive in reviewing menu content and product standards
- Strong demi would be considered
- All fresh food background is a must
- Ideally in a similar establishment
- Good longevity in roles
- Must want to succeed as a chef
- Must have experience working in restaurant and conference and banqueting
- Be professional and approachable at all times
- Rosette experience is essential
