Immediate Start | Full Time & Part time | £18.49 – £20.17 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
We at Chefs Bay Hospitality are acting as the recruitment agency on behalf of our client, a busy and well-regarded farm shop café, who are looking for a strong Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to join them on a full-time or part-time, temporary ongoing basis while they recruit permanently. The role is available for an immediate start and is expected to run until at least after Easter, potentially into the summer.
The café focuses on fresh, seasonal, farm-to-table cooking, using high-quality local produce from the farm shop and estate.
The menu includes:
- Hearty breakfast dishes such as Full English breakfast, baked eggs, smashed avocado on sourdough, smoked salmon bagels and Spanish eggs
- Seasonal lunch dishes including venison goulash, squash dahl, steak sandwiches, Welsh rarebit and homemade soups
This is quality daytime café dining with a strong emphasis on free-range meats, estate-baked breads, and fresh eggs, so experience working with fresh produce in a fast-paced environment is essential.
The Role:
- Full-time or Part time hours
- Shifts approximately 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Any 5 days out of 7, Monday–Sunday (café open 7 days a week)
- Working as part of a small, professional kitchen team
- Maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness
