About the Role: We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Chef de Partie to join our client's busy hotel pub and restaurant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled chef looking for consistent hours and an excellent hourly rate throughout the busy summer season. The placement begins with shifts on Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th June. From the following week onwards, the venue will operate 7 days a week, allowing us to offer between 2 and 5 shifts per week for candidates who can commit to the full duration.

Shift Times (Varying):

  • 12:00 – 22:00
  • 15:00 – 22:00

Key Responsibilities

  • Section Management: Take full ownership of your assigned kitchen section, ensuring high-quality dishes are produced efficiently during busy service periods.
  • Food Preparation: Manage daily prep levels to ensure the section is fully stocked and ready for high-volume lunch and dinner rushes.
  • Health & Safety: Maintain strict food hygiene standards, including correct stock rotation, labeling, and clear allergen management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and wider kitchen team to maintain low ticket times and high food quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie within a fast-paced, high-volume pub, restaurant, or hotel kitchen.
  • A reliable, punctual professional who thrives under pressure.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety legislation and allergen awareness.
  • Ability to commit to the booking until 3rd September.
