Event Chefs Required – Seasonal Work – York
£16.81 per hour (Inclusive of Holiday Pay)
Chefs Bay Hospitality are recruiting experienced chefs to join our team for a busy 2025 event season at a well-known venue within York. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and skilled chefs who enjoy working in fast-paced environments and want flexible, seasonal event work throughout the year.
The Role – Retail Event Chefs
We are initially recruiting chefs to work across high-volume retail catering outlets, including:
- Burger stations
- Hot dog counters
- Pizza service
- Sandwich preparation stations
You will be responsible for maintaining high food standards, working efficiently during busy service periods, and ensuring food safety compliance at all times. There will be opportunities to progress into hospitality and premium suite catering for chefs who demonstrate strong performance and professionalism.
Pay & Progression
£16.81 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Increased pay rates available for hospitality roles
Additional preparation days may also be available

- Wednesday 13th – Friday 16th May
- Saturday 23rd May
- Friday 12th – Saturday 13th June
- Saturday 27th June
- Friday 10th – Saturday 11th July
- Friday 24th – Saturday 25th July
- Wednesday 19th – Saturday 22nd August
- Sunday 6th September
- Friday 9th – Saturday 10th October
