We are currently recruiting multiple Catering Assistants and Kitchen Porters to join a high-performing kitchen in the M4 area, supplying fresh, high-quality food. These are excellent opportunities for committed individuals looking for stable, long-term work in a fast-paced, team-focused kitchen environment.

What’s on Offer:

  • Full-Time & Part-Time | Ongoing Placement
  • 7-day operation with shifts between 06:00-21:00 (up to 12 months)
  • Continued support and opportunities from Chefs Bay.

The Roles:

  • Supporting chefs with basic food preparation.
  • Portioning, packing, and labelling food items.
  • Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
  • Assisting with stock rotation and deliveries.
  • Following hygiene, food safety, and health & safety procedures.
  • Maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen and wash-up areas.
  • Operating dishwashers and handling cleaning duties efficiently.
  • Assisting with waste disposal and general kitchen organisation.
  • Supporting chefs and catering staff with ad-hoc tasks when required.
  • Ensuring hygiene standards are upheld to the highest level.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a similar catering or kitchen porter role is preferred.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good understanding of basic food safety and hygiene.
  • Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for manual tasks.
  • Must be able to travel to and from the M4 location reliably.
  • Must currently reside in the UK with full Right to Work status.
